Grilled Steak Marinade

Grilled Steak Marinade

This steak marinade will work for any cut of steak you want to throw on the grill. I got the recipe from my brother-in-law--the one that's married to the sister who doesn't cook. Someone has too!

-1/4 cup Steak Sauce (I use A1-it's a family favorite)
-1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
-1 teaspoon liquid smoke
-1/8 cup soy sauce

Dip your meat in the sauce, both sides and pour the balance of the sauce on top of your meat. Marinate for at least 1 hour and grill. How long you leave it on the grill depends on the cut of meat, how thick it is and how well you like it done. The steak in this photograph is tenderloin and as you can see, it's only about 1 inch thick. I put it on the grill on a medium heat to sear the outside for about 5 minutes, then flipped it, turned the heat down to low and cooked it for another 10-15 minutes. The thinner pieces were well done and the thicker pieces were pink and more rare on the inside. Which works out well for my family; no one likes it the same.
